A special private view with an exciting live auction will be held on 21st July during the latest Gary Hodges exhibition which runs from 10th -22nd July 2018. It will be at the world renowned Nature in Art in Gloucestershire, Europe's first museum dedicated to art inspired by nature. Around 15 specially embellished prints will auctioned by BBC TVs award-winning auctioneer James Lewis.
Gary has chosen a selection of his most popular prints and drawn over them with thousands of new pencil strokes making each one unique. They bridge the gap perfectly between an original drawing and a print. All are personally signed by the artist and co-signed by Virginia McKenna OBE and Rula Lenska to make them even more collectable.
Our host for the evening will be the acclaimed actor and conservationist Rula Lenska (Coronation Street filming schedules allowing). A Magic Circle magician, an origami artist and more will be on hand to add to the evening's entertainment. Vegan prosecco / wine and veggie / vegan finger food will be served during the event.

100% of sales from these prints will be equally divided between six groundbreaking charities Gary has long since supported; (in alphabetical order) Animals Asia Foundation, Born Free, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, EIA and Nature in Art. Gary hopes over £50,000 will be generated from the event.
Every ticket holder will be entered into a prize draw with three great prizes.. an embellished print, an elephant sketch and a signed Greenpeace card from 1990. They will be framed to finest Fine Art Trade Guild standards and all complying to strict Forest Stewardship Council guidelines as will all the framing for the Love & Protection exhibition.
The Love & Protection auction evening will be a full and fun night of fundraising set in the peaceful grounds of Nature in Art's home, Wallsworth Hall. The exhibition will be in the two main galleries of Nature in Art and the auction will be orchestrated in a marquee specially erected for this event. The Love & Protection exhibition is on from 10th -22nd July 2018 10am to 5pm at the world renowned Nature in Art museum, Gloucestershire. Love & Protection is an exhibition/fund-raising auction of 50 embellished limited edition prints that have been created especially for this charity show.
